Leza is a transportation planner specializing in NEPA project planning for bridge, highway, rail, and pedestrian projects.  During her 30+ year career, Leza has served as project manager and/or lead author for a wide range of projects, from relatively simple bridge replacements to complex new-location, multi-lane freeways. Examples of her project experience include:  an EIS for the Western Wake Freeway (renamed the Triangle Expressway), the EA/FONSI for the East End Connector in Durham, and a CE for widening I-85 in Cabarrus and Rowan Counties. She is also skilled in conducting community impact assessments and public outreach activities.
